Steve's Faves
Welcome to Steve's Faves
I have chosen my favorite based on three things:
- Overall performance
- Service required over time
- Ease of use
Feel free to stop in any time and allow me to show you in greater detail why these were chosen by me as winners.
Sanitaire 647Get the ultimate in convenience and performance with this commercial quality upright. The unit features a triple filter bag system so dirt and dust remain in the bag for cleaner air. Why did I choose this? Forget the filtration, forget beauty, buttons and whistles; the stripped down Sanitaire S647 is a dirt digging machine. It boasts a direct air motor system that has been tested over time to clean nasty filthy carpets better than any other vacuum. In summery, if you are the type of person that owns a ford truck with vinyl seats, has a push lawn mower without a bagger or wash your dishes by hand because you believe they get cleaner that way, then this is your vacuum. |

Miele LeoWanting it all is a human thing. The Miele Leo gives you just that. My choice for the gadget lover without the fluff. The Leo will out perform all other vacuums while retaining dust and allergens at 99.99% efficient at .3 microns. From the Miele made Vortex Motor System to the Deluxe Ergonomically Correct handle and titanium wand; life just doesn’t get any better. Why did I choose this? Miele makes a lot of different model vacuums. The Leo gives you the best of all the models made without purchasing the most expensive one. The full size power head, Twister floor attachment, touch electronic controls just to name a few are, my favorite features on this machine. |

Riccar VibranceWith metal components used throughout the vacuum, HEPA filtration, a floor selector and numerous convenience features, the long-lasting, outstanding performance of this model will certainly impress. Made in St James, Mo, USA. Why did I choose this? Similar to my answer on the Sanitaire S647. I love the simplistic approach to house keeping the Riccar Vibrance offers the user. The metal brushroll, no tools required belt change and “turn it on and vacuum” is the most reliable approach for busy life styles. These days many homes have a cleaning service come in and help with the tidying up. The Riccar Vibrance does not require your house keeper, whether it be a professional or one of your children, to take lessons or read the manual just to figure out how to use it. Made in the USA. Yes I am repeating myself here. This machine was made with good old fashion American sweat. Not easy to come by these days. |

Miele JazzThe S7 family shares a range of exciting and innovative features. Why did I choose this? Simply stated, it is one of the few machines that I get calls from customers after the sale thanking me for selling it to them. The comments range from "I Love My Vacuum" to "Thank you, I never knew vacuuming could be so much fun." Besides that; the Miele Jazz has a lifetime belt, 6+ at bag capacity, incredible suction and the maneuverability is splendid. Take a virtual spin on this baby, you will love it. |

Fresh Wave Vacuum PearlsYou can try repeatedly changing the bag or just drop in Fresh Wave Vacuum Pearls and eliminate the odor altogether. Available in a 4. 5 oz bottle, Vacuum Pearls are easy to use. Simply add a capful of pearls to your vacuum bag to keep foul-smelling odors at bay. Other powders that you use may be bad for you, bad for the carpet, bad for our environment and they are certainly bad for the vacuum cleaner. |
